PROCOS Group discovers the architectural variety of Valencia
Published on 25.11.2014
In line with the yearly tradition, PROCOS has organized a study trip to explore the architectural richness of a European city, this time Valencia.
Stunning public buildings have changed the city’s skyline over the last decades: Sir Norman Foster’s Palacio de Congresos, David Chipperfield’s award-winning Veles i Vents structure beside the inner port, and, on the grandest scale of all, the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencas, designed in the main by Santiago Calatrava. The group also visited Wayco, the largest coworking space in Valencia, and the Turia Park, a former river bed which was converted into a 10 km long leisure garden in the late 1950’s.
